I am selling my 2004 ford 6.0 and going to buy a cummins want a 2006 and or newer is there any year I should stay away from or does it matter.

 

I can't suggest a year to stay away from, but I can say I was really happy with my 2002 dodge cummins 3500 dually, and so far I've really happy with my 2006 5.9 cummins 3500 dually...this one's got an auto tranny though and I'd trade in a heartbeat for a standard and a jake brake like my 02 had. Just a thought, but watch out if you need to get an ECM replaced, the new program seems to have issues causing the grid heater light to come on. Hope Chrysler comes up with a fix soon.
