Default edge juice w/ attitude

Hey guys! Im new on this forum and this is my first post on here! In my 07 cummins i just installed an edge juice with attitude cts chip but i cant completly figure it out. There is a low boost response setting in the juice controls, im wonderring what that low boost response is doing because i can turn it up or down.

that just controls how much fuel your truck will inject prior to boost getting up there pretty much a smoke setting the higher you go the more smoke you will get

it not only controls how much smoke you make prior to building boost but it creates boost faster. Now that doesn't mean to bump all of them up to 5 what it means is you will have more heat at lower rpm's the higher you set your low boost response, more heat means more air density, more density means your turbine will spin faster because the air is moving(expanding) faster so you'll build boost faster.

That may or may not make any sense so here are my recommendations... assuming you have a stock turbo, intercooler, and possibly stock intake and exhaust. match your low boost response to the number of your tune. so 1=1, 2=2, 3=3, 4=4 and don't use 5! I know you want to but you will be wasting fuel, melting turbo's and risking damage to internal parts that I promise you don't want to pay to fix!

Always monitor your EGT and set your alarm no higher than 1350. I know it is very easy to hit that but it sounds like you're just starting out and when you get the money add to what you have there I promise it will have been worth the wait!!! You will love that you didn't have to spend that money earlier.

FYI a stock transmission will last 5,000 miles, if you're lucky, with your tuner set at 3-3.(and don't forget to turn on your transmission saver option. it lowers fueling just before shifting so that your transmission won't burn through internals as quickly.)
