No I can't read whats not there, How am I supposed to knopw what the max inflation of the Pro Comps is if it's not listed. I was in the tire business for 20 years and never seen a D rated tire that only called for 50 psi, therfore I think you're blowing smoke up my ****.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Pro Comp thinks 315 is the heigth and 70 is the width so they don't know much about tires obviously

1) Yes they can and they will work BUT if you ask the manufacturer they will say 10" rim this is so the sidewalls and tread conform properly.
2) So in my opinion no they shouldn't be run due to wear issues and manufacturers safety warnings
3) Next is what is the purpose Looks, off road, towing or?

It sounds like this kid just needs tires and will grab what he can for a good price, Use is not the concern keeping the truck on the road is! So with spacers it should work. Without you will have sidewall wear so wait till you have the spacers then do it all at the same time!
Keyfischer your truck looks cool! But I would never tow with those tires they just wear out to fast for my taste! I run a 19.5 heavy haul tire used on the med duty rigs. I average about 60 to 80k per set. When running 17" rims getting 30k out of a set was about the best and sway under load not so nice!
Well this ends this thread I hope!
Everybody have a great Labor Day you deserve it!!
im going for the off road look my origanal plan was to go with a set of 34/ 1150s but this set i found first. im just going to wait till i have the spacers n not try to stupid rig my truck, im not lke i was wen i was 16 and threw a set of 38/15s on the back of my stock f150 jus to say i had 38s lmao

BFGoodrich*All-Terrain T/A KO

Guess you didnt learn everything in your 20 years did ya. right there is another D rated tire that has a load rating of 3195lb and a max inflation of 50 psi. I can not find anywhere on the net that lists the max inflation for the procomps but i promise you it was the same as the above bfg at's which i've also ran in that same size. Also just looked at the Kumho 315/70R17s on my wifes SWR 1-ton and they also have the same 3195lb rating at again 50psi...i can take a pic of the sidewall if need be.

but oh well i guess i'm just a dangerous dumb <30 year old reckneck from the south that hasnt been in the tire business for 20 years and dosnt know anything about tires at all and blows smoke up peoples tailends....if you want to keep proving your ingorance go right ahead but i am done with this thread

OK so overloaded at 45 PSI is safe if you say so Also you've proven while I have better things to do than look up tire specs on the internet, you obviously don't, and with that said I'm also done with this thread.
