well, for now the holley is going to have to work as I already had one new in the box and just ordered up a big line kit to make my install clean not the way I have it now. Been running the holley for over a year and it has been great.

I got the Holley black today finally. What, if any, big line kit should I use. Ive looked at the Vulcan Big Line Kit thats used for holleys and carters but I am still not sure what I need to mount the pump on the frame (does the vulcan come with everything I need?) and use it as a stand alone pump. Any suggestions?! Im def confused on how this system works. Like if I need filters somewhere down there. Thanks for the posts as well! worst comes to worst I buy Chads here in a few weeks. Well if its still around. LOL

I don't know a lot about the Vucan kit itself. You can mount the Holley pump directly to the frame rail as close to the tank as possible or in my case I like to mount it on a peice of alluminum plate then put a peice of rubber mat behind it to absorb some of the road shock, just for good measure.

I would reccomend just getting rid of the stock pump completely. If you do keep it be sure to run the two pumps side by side and not through each other. In between the tank and the LP's mount a T fitting and split the supply to each individual pump and then bring them back together the same way after the LP's. This way if one of them dies it's not slowing down the good pump.

Don't know what part of the woods your from but if your interested I have a left over alluminum mount here that I would sell ya for next to nothin and I can probably find some scraps of rubber matting layin around someplace. I use it in horse trailers and keep the scraps for this kind a stuff. Just a pain to cut up. Think about how you want to do this and let me know if your gonna need it.
