broken spider gear....now what

broken spider gear....now what
can i replace the spiders and clutches without rebuilding the whole axle? i have never built an axle and im not sure what im doing. would i need spreaders and other special tools? i really want to do this myself or at least with guidance from someone. thanks!

Setting up gears is a art of patience and correct tools.
I cant help you as all that I am versed in are drop out thirds (Toyota)
I will say though that you are better off to pay someone to do the job unless you have the time, tools, location, and knowledge to do this job.
If you really want to do this job yourself then search and find a website that will help teach you how. I learned how to set up Toyota thirds back in the day by reading Zook's site Toyota Gear Installs Although they are not the same type of axle read some of these gear install threads and you will have a idea on what you need to learn and look for in your search.
