Loss of Power
Folks,
I'm having an issue with my 1999 dodge 3500 dually. 5.9 cummins. I just replaced the fuel pump and the crankshaft position sensor. Those were the errors which came up when i ran a check when the check engine light came on. Everything seemed to be going to smooth to be true. I finished hooking all that up, ran it down the road, ran some errands. When i was leaving the store to go home, the truck bogged down and i had very little fuel pressure. Then it felt like it was starving for fuel and i couldn't get any mph past 30, then 20 and finally the last mile or so i limped it home at a speedy 5 mph. any thoughts? I thought it might be the pump in the tank, but wanted to get your thoughts. i appreciate your help!

Need to hook up a fuel pressure gauge to see what the FP is actually doing. It could be a bad pump or it could have picked up some trash. Changing fuel filters is a good idea if you haven't done that lately.
