I am having the same sort of problem. Trying not to use eather tho... I just got off the phone wh a guy who told me to check the seal where the fuel filter goes. He said if it has any damage to it then air will get in and make is a pain in the rear to start. Hopefully I can get a file pressure faucet in the next day or 2.

I'll c if we can get a gauge on it, what pressure should I be lookin for? Could the regulator on the pump possibly be bad or clogged maybe?

Have you tried bumping the starter, and letting the fuel pump run for 25-30 seconds before cranking? It should push any air out of the low pressure system.

I would check to see if the batteries are any good. Could be have enough juice to crank it but not enough to run everything else.

Pulled cam/crank sensors and inspected for damage or anything stuck to them?
