I ordered new copper washers for my old injectors from the local Cummins shop. They are the same thickness and outside diameter but instead of a circle inside they have what amounts to four "fingers". They seem to fit fine but I wanted to know if they are the right ones before I switch them out. The shop ordered them using my engine number so I'm assuming they are just a new/different design.

Any help would be appreciated....

 

sounds like they are the actual washers. those hold them on when putting them in the head.

 

Should be fine. I have seen both types and haven't run into problems either way.
