Hello everyone, newbie here with some tranny questions. I'll give you a little history on the tranny, any and all advice would be appriciated. Rebuilt 47re with triple disc torque convertor, bd valve body a few years ago. Not long after the tranny would do the search/shutter shift from 1-2-1-2-1 until shifting into 3rd. 3rd up works great, lock up problems fixed years ago with capacitor on the C-1 wire for computer. Recently changed the gov pressure, transducer and wiring harness in tranny to try and fix shift problem. Worked for about a week and it's worse than ever now. I know the tranny needs to be rebuilt at some point, but what could be my problem right now? I replaced the solenoids with the OEM ones, but I think that the increased pressure may have blown them out already so I am thinking maybe going with bog warner upgraded ones? So here is my question, when I am driving from a stop light, I am still getting the shutter shift/hunting for 1-2 and after that its great...no, if I slow down to a red light but not come to a complete stop, the tranny will down shift but not shift back up, almost like its stuck in 1st. If I shift into neutral and back to drive, it starts shifting again. Almost like there was no pressure, but again if you go to neutral back to drive, it works. Should I try replacing the gov solenoid/transducer with the larger upgraded ones and adjust my av cables or just go for a full rebuild? This is a 3500 DD with edge box on it, but it never gets turned up or driven hard. I know this is long, hopefully I put all the details might need to help me out. Thanks in advance!

You wouldn't happen to kno if u have any codes in your truck? I have a sensor goin out and it making my truck do something like that but i have a apps code just sayin u might check

 

Yea I've had it checked a few times and it has never thrown a tranny code.
