Id love to keep it a 50psi but i got stock studs and from what i have researched to hx35/40 is rated to 40psi max

yes, taking some of the preload off the wastegate actuator rod can lower the total boost, you may have to go and check all of the hose connecting to the wastegate actuator and make sure there are no holes and it is connected to the actuator and not bleeding off boost and prohibiting the wastegate from opening.
if all else fails, use less right foot, that will lower the boost ALL the time....

Yea i have been trying to watch my gauge and letting off but it spools so quick to 50psi. and then it surges eveytime i end up letting off it to quick trying to quickly bang into another gear fast. Id just like to get the boost lower where i could hold boost throughout the rpm range without it climbing so high

ya you might have too much fuel for that snail...... you could open it up and do some porting to the wastegate hole in the exhaust housing, they leave a lot to be desired. I have also heard of people cutting the divider out either on the turbo or the manifold so that the wastegate would regulate all 6 cyls and not just the back 3.

even before the tst i was hitting 38psi pretty easily with just my smarty. probably the best solution to this problem would just to get a turbo that is rated for lets say for 60psi? the tst is just plain mean it just fuels so hard even on level 4 on it the turbo goes crazy

It didnt come with one. if i drilled out the hole in the elbow bigger would that help any? Or like stated before between the tst and the smarty is there just to much fuel and air being rushed into the turbo more than the wastegate can bleed out because it is to small? or is there a few things i can try before i port out the wastegate hole and the dividers. before the tst i was at a steady 38-40psi at wot now it will rocket to 45-50psi 3/4 throttle if im not paying attention

the boost elbow should have an allen set screw in it, back the screw out to lower the boost, screw it in to get more boost.
on the divider, I would do one or the other, some guys use a drill and drill some holes in it, some use a grinder to get a chunk out of it. IF it is a stock manifold I wouldn't think twice about it, if it is an aftermarket 3 piece I would look to go other routes.
on the wastegate hole, the hole is significantly smaller than the flapper that covers it IF noone has already messed with it. some companies will have this ported and some won't. as long as you don't open the hole up to bigger than the flapper then you should be OK.
