01 cummins loping and jerking while driving
Hey guys new to diesels and need some help. I have an 01 cummins 4x4 auto with egde juice w/attuide, manual lift pump, new injector pump, new apps sensor, new cam shaft position sensor, new batterys And alternator.... Thats all I can think of now. The truck is loping in park but not drive and while driving it wants to start jerking/jumping even with o/d off.... Any help would be great.... Thanks!!
I did that thinking it was the problem but when it wasn't I hooked it back up...I was having problems with the tank holding pressure and poped the release thing in it and solved that problem...how how do I bleed the line?

I bought one thing that was it but it doesn't have 1. There is a plate over where it's suppose to go... Did some research and found out they did away with starting in 01 and went to cam shaft position sensor.... So I replaced it still no luck
I'm getting a p0122 code when I do the key thing but the apps sensor is less than a year old .... I was leaning toward the PCM being bad... Cause the turbo cool down timer only works sometimes.... If truck is loping it doesn't work and truck shuts str8 off
0122 is apps voltage, means you need to adjust it, doesn't mean sensor is bad. I highly doubt the pcm is bad. You need to access a good scanner like a snap-on solus or something, where you can monitor everything while the truck is running and even perform tests on certain components and sensors.
Would me bypassing the ECM form the apps sensor and going str8 to the PCM give me that code?.... Going to put it back stock and see if code goes away... I did it because it said it would do away with 4th hunt but ... Still having that problem ...
I've never heard of anybody doing that. You need to set the voltage on the sensor per the spec on the back of the apps housing, and I'd put it all back stock. I've also never heard of anything apps related making a truck lope.
