hello all,
somehow i got a big slug of water in my fuel tank and to try to make a long story short, i pulled the pump assembly and cleaned all the slime out of the pump unit screen and drained the tank and cleaned it entirely. put it all back together and changed the fuel filter and fueled it up. now it wont start. the pump would run at first, and i bled the lines up to the pump. now the pump will not run and i have no fuel pressure to the pump.(acorrding to my edge attitude) so i forced the pump on(via jumper wire) now got fuel pressure @ the pump...still wont fire................please help!

 

Did you crack the injector lines? I think i crack 1,4, and 5, then crank it over till I saw fuel. Tighten them back up and starts every time

i cracked all the lines and have fuel coming out of all them. wont fire a lick! i am lost. is it possible the injector pump is not building enough pressure? ran fine when i pulled it in the shop

 

do the key trick, see if it throws any codes.

How much fuel are you getting at the injectors? a little? or does it spray like crazy and it's got air bubbles in it?

 

just getting a little and i got good fuel pressure to the IP. got a sick feeling my IP is bad!

 

yeah sounds possible. do the key trick like i said and see what the codes are. 3 times on and off quick without turning the engine over, 3rd time leave key in on position, watch odometer.
