should there be fuel psi at the vp44 supply line when truck is off.Thanks

no it bleeds off, then when u turn the key and wait to start engine lite goes off ur lift pump has already supplied the IP with the amount of fuel it needs.

Right after you shut it off there maybe a little pressure if you loosen the banjo bolt

thanks for the info trying to figure out hard to start problem have 16-18 psi when idling at ip'replace vp44 return check valve & washers same to help.

no seems to start ok after it warms up

when you park it try parking it down hill and see if it starts better when cold. if it starts better then it's your cross over tube o-rings
