Got done with work today and my truck wouldnt turn all the way over...It would sit and crank but wouldnt fully start....Then a flipped the key and it posted a p1693..Any help?

 

All P1693 mean is a code was detected in companion mode, one computer noticed a code in the other computer. There is most likely another code hiding in there. Whats you fuel pressure while cranking? Any other side effects?

 

Do not waste your time with the key on/off trick...it is an absolute must with second gen to have a decent scanner and fuel pressure guage. These trucks have been around ten plus years now and owning one without these two toos is foolish. period.
