Default Need Advice truck pull

Jun 9th I'm puttin my 01 3500 in a street class truck pull its completely stock except for exaust and cold air and it has 4.10 gears I was wondering how to build boost and launch with a five speed without burning the clutch out its my first time so any advice is great thanks:

It's hard to not burn a clutch sled pulling. Do you still have the stock clutch?

Yea its still stock and not to good anymore

if your clutch is in not too good of shape now, it might not live thru a sled pull.

Yea that's wat I'm scared of I need to invest in a south bend duel disk cause I plan on gettin a set of 100 or 120 horse injectors with a phat shaft 64 turbo

Yea but the pull is a month away and I don't have that kind of money right now so I'm tore between givin it a shot and playing it safe it really sucks

Dude play it safe! Its not worth the headache when that clutch goes boom. And your truck is stock you would be better off waiting. I wouldn't worry about a turbo just yet. Get yourself a fuel pump fass or air dog then a chip then injectors. Then you can start thinking about a turbo...
