Adjust them at the rear end if your pedal is creating tension with the pedal down

How do I adjust them at the brakes themselves? Never adjusted rear disk brakes before, only changed the pads. Thanks for the feed back

sounds like your e brake shoes are worn. the e brake shoes are different from rear brake pads.

BINGO!! Your emergency brake is inside the rear rotor. It's a mini drum set up

Not bad, but to adjust them if they are good you'll just have to crank on the star wheel from the back side. The way your supposed to do it is to jack it up, tighten the wheel until you can't turn the tire then back it off just far enough that it drags slightly. I prefer to if I have the wheels of to make slight adjustments to tighten and test fit until turning the rotor/ drum I get the slight drag. going in from the back side I think is a pain.

Top tip for doing shoes too, do one side at a time so you have the other completed side to compare to and use to figure out how it all goes together
