Default 3rd gen to 2nd gen axle swap
Found a guy u wants to swap axles. He has 4.10 gears and he wants highway gears like mine. Unfortunately his truck is an 03 and mines a 2000. Will this work?

it probably could be done but you will loose mileage big time plus the front end will always be locked and spinning the front drive line and that costs mileage too.

I have never heard of someone doin a swap like that. Im kinda interested what would it would take to complete

Decided it wasn't worth it. I'll just change the ring and pinion and what not.
