What kind of tranny set up auto or manual? This will play a role in your search. I wouldn't recommend putting any set of injectors in something with an auto trans. These trans are known to be the "weak link" in dodges. If you do have an auto i'd just run a tuner such as a smarty or edge until you get a beefed up tranny to handle the power. Just my two sense but i'd rather be driving my truck then sitting along the road cause I blew my tranny.

 

It's a six speed.

 

sense its a 6 speed get 150hp injectors... you will be happy

 

What transmission you have has absolutley no bearing on what injectors you should run... you can slip a clutch on 5 or 6 speed tranny just as easy as you can the converter on an auto. You need a pusher pump first, and gauges, or a programmer that displays fuel psi, boost, and exhaust temp.

Do what you want, but what 01quadcab said is right on, anything too big will get hot in a hurry. I ran 150's on an hx35 for a while, 1500+ degrees @ WOT easily.

 

Don't mean to get off topic but the title of the thread caught my eye and i want to know if getting nozzles is good enough or complete injectors?

 

well lift pump and gauges are in the works but i also want a little more power for towing. I'm overseas right now so the truck is parked. I'm trying to figure out what I'm gonna do when i get home.

 

I'm pretty sure it does if your not looking to spend the money on doing anything to your drive train. And 1500+ for a period of time? I'm pretty sure anything over 1250 or higher for a period of time your starting to cook your valve train.

 

If you do nozzles they have to be flow tested and have pop pressures set. New injectors have already had this done and are ready to install, that being said it normally takes a shop longer to do nozzles cause of flow test and pop pressures than it takes you to change injectors yourself or having a shop do it
