Default edge ez

So the truck in my Sig has an edge easy on it that sometimes works and sometimes dosent and I think its just the chip going bad but I was wanting to test for power to be sure so my question is does and one know which connecter feeds it power the only two are the one to the map sensor and the other one which I'm not even sure what it goes to?

It connects to MAP Sensor and Data Link.

That the install from Edge. Most likely it gets its power from the Data Link. It doesn't need much power for what it does.

I figured it was from the data link so I used a test light to check for power and I couldn't get it anywhere. That's why I was hoping to find someone who knew

you did WHAT?!?!?! That's a great way to kill a computer. Test lights are for brake lights, use a multi-meter for things like that. There will only be 5 volts at the Data link anyway, probably won't light up a bulb.

Oops!!!! Well I just tested with a multimeter and the data link has 3 wires going into it and then 2 coming out of the connecter to the edge both of those only had 2.5 volts a piece so I'm guessing that's good

I contacted them and they only offered my a discount. They said they would sell me a new ez for 350$ and their online for 389$ from Vulcan performance while it is a discount its not exactly what I was hoping for. That's why I was trying to check everything over before I buy a new one and have the same problem.
