A friend of mine let his engine freeze a couple of weeks ago. It's a cracked 53 block. He was only puttin water in it. Anyway, the truck is a 99 and mines a 98.5. I was wondering it I swapped computers with his could I swap his nv4500 for my 47re? I really want a manual in my truck. The nv only has about 5000 miles on it. The truck is in pretty rough shape so I can probably get it pretty cheap. Thanks

 

I would sure think so.

ECM and PCM, harnesses, linkage, ect.

You may need to see if that year will support cruise, ect.

u need to shorten ur rear drive shaft, and lengthen your front. as well as all the stuff listed above.

 

Not if he just swaps the drive lines with it...
