Default Northern Virginia transmission shop recommendations??

I'm looking for a shop to diagnose problems with my NV5600. The problem I'm having isn't uncommon - just don't know exactly what's causing it. Sometimes when the truck is idling it will not go into any gear, unless you FORCE it. Other times it drops in with no effort at all. Once moving it shifts pretty good, with only a grind in 6th which I assume is synchros. If you shut the truck off it moves in and out of gear easy. Also, downshifting is a pain in the @$$....most of the time - it nevers drops in easy. I've heard......bad synchros......clutch dragging......pilot bearing/input shaft problems....etc. Just looking for a competent shop in my area that can handle it.....with a fair price. Any suggestions???
