Default Fixing oil leaks

Ive got a oil leak right now that is starting to really get on my nerves. Its leaking at the front cover and front of oil pan. It doesnt look like the front crank seal is leaking. Any good way to seal it up?

Are you sure your vacuum pump isn't leaking too? My truck only has 66,000 miles and the vacuum pump leaks oil all over the place and makes it look like the front cover/front of pan are leaking.

I second that idea. Check the vacuum pump seal first. I thought I had a bad front crank seal as well, but was able to track the leak down to the vac pump to timing cover gasket.

I plan to pull the front cover on sat. And see what i can do. I know its something in the cover. No oil by the power steering pump. Ive heard the oring on the vaccuum pump leaks.

Yes, it can leak as well. Maybe before getting too excited and pulling the cover off, pull the fan and run it that way. That is how I found my leak. You can get a solid 10 - 15 minutes running at 15000rpm before heat becomes an issue.
