Are they just stuck in? Or they will fold out but not lock back in place?

Are you talking about just the mirror housing, or the whole assembly? Up down vs. in out.

I haven't had the problem, but have heard of someone breaking theirs when they were to fold them out. Take it easy, use some lubricant, and see if you can work it free.

its the whole assembly going in and out i sprayed some kro-oil in and now it will rotate but still wont lock into place. there is a circle whole on the bottom of the mounting does it come off???? i tried to pop it off but stopped cuase i didnt wanna break it. It looks like if you got it off you could look up in and see whats cuasing the problem. thanks for the help guys

Never had dealings with the dodge mirrors but I am sure they work the same as my Ford. Look for a detent ball with a spring behind it, you will more than like have to take the assembly off and work from there. I would guess the detent spring is gone or the detent pocket may be broken.

If you break the mirror, the 7 years of bad lick isn't that bad..... I must have broken 6 with the luck I'm having.
