Default throttle fluctuates up and down HELP PLEASE

while driving at around 2k the truck will back down out of the throttle even when the peddle is planted to the floor it wont throw any codes in the ecm or the trans.

tps went out on mine n had to get a new one. idk if thats what ur havin trouble with but try resetin it by turnin the key without startin it. push the pedal to the floor n let it up slow then turn it off. run it n see what happens

will anything happen when the computer is reset???

no that just resets the throttle position sensor i think. you wont know anything has happened until u drive it. if it doesnt fix ur problem then its prolly not the tps

i dont know a whole lot about it but if ur tps is failing its sending incorrect readings to ur comp which makes ur throttle not right

it sounds a lot like the tps sencer, i have found them at the best price for less than $200 on ebay.

Cumminsluke01, I was having the same problem a while back. No codes, but dead pedal at times. It was my APPS. I bought a modified replacement from Tim at Timbom1976@aol.com. 717-577-1464. It included very detailed installation instructions with photos and Tim was helpful in diagnosing the problem over the phone before my order. This kit is the way Dodge should've done it from the factory.
