majorty will say to replace the lift pump with a good aftermarket one. but since ure doing guages i would get a fuel pressure guage or the low psi light so u can keep tabs on what ure lift pump is doing. just my thoughts

An Airdog, Fass, or raptor fuel pump, throw on a mechanical fuel pressure gauge along with boost and EGT gauge..then get a programmer, Edge juice or comp. then get some good injectors. thats a good start!!

I tell everyone you need to see what's going on (gauges) and let that diesel breathe. (exhaust and air filter but you already have air) than go from there. You can get full 5" or 4" exhaust kits for 300 or less from the sponsors here just do a price request.

like the others have said do the 4in exhaust & you said the air filter wasn't stock.does that mean it has an after market filter or a clod air intake, i.e. k&n,s&b ?if not you'll want to get a cold air system of some kind to help it breath better.make sure you get a fuel pressure gauge,NOT the low pressure light.i had the light & a brand new cummins lift pump.the lp went bad, took out my injection pump, the light never came on.i got one of the gauge pods that mounts on the steering column.it's easy to monitor there right below the speedo.enjoy your 24v,have fun.

Gauges First and see what your lift pump is doing.

auto meter gauges, Airdog 100 or 150, Cold air intake, Exhaust, performance chip for better fuel mileage. that will get your diesel going good

depends on what kind of programmer you get.. if you get an edge juice with attitude then yes you will have all you need on the screen, but if you go with edge comp, its just a chip on the fly, no screen.. its really up to you as to what way you wanna go. BTW, you in the army? im active right now, serving in south korea.
