Default Irradic Fuel Pressie

So im drivin home tonight and all is good, and all of a sudden my fuel pressure guage starts jumping around like crazy. jumps from 10psi to 30 psi irradicly. the truck has the "grease gun" style sending unit with a snubber valve in it. I didnt install it, but bought it like that. if anyone could shed some light itd be appreciated
Also not sure if it helps but its a gloshift guage.

Could be the guage. I had an isspro fuel guage that bounced around and had a rattle to it. I replaced it and it cleared up. Local diesel shop said it was probably a defective guage. They said it was probably the snubber. I replaced it and the guage at the same time. Problem solved.

It must be my snubber valve, cause now it just says its pegged at 30. I'll have to tear into it tomorrow and see

Bad sending unit for the gauge. Went through 3 on my old truck in 3 months with a snubber. Glow shifts fuel pressure sending units seem to be junk for us. My buddies ps just had his go bad after 3 months. But id replace the gauge with a quality one and use a needle valve as a snubber

Ive heard the Gloshifts were kind of sucky gauges. But again i didnt put them in. Ill just have to try a new snubber first

if the snubber went bad more than likely the sending unit on the gauge is bad now to. Happened to mine when who installed the gauge failed to even put a snubber on

I went through 3 Glowshit FP sensors (with snubber valve installed). Finally on the 4th one i made up a foot long hose and ran it off the banjo fitting on my VP44. Has been good for about 4 months now.

snubbers are junk. Hard to find one worth a damn.

you are better off to use a needle valve instead and just barely open it a crack...

it should cause the gauge to sweep slowly and take a couple seconds to read full pressure if it is set properly.
