Does it have a fuelling box or aftermarket injectors on it? Egts shouldnt be quite that high with no fuelling mods. It would be best to talk to the previous owner if you can.

im not sure what the previos owner did or didnt do bought it off a used car lot. so lets just call it STOCK. im thinking its a bad guage or thermal proab. just looking for numbers that everyone else runs.

I cruise on the highway at 550-600 with 150 horse injectors... it's possible but not likely you have a bad gauge. Does the truck smoke at all when you stand on it? Have you done any digging under the hood looking for a box or anything?

smokes a littel found no power box. unless they used a superchip or somthing like that. pulled the pryo back out to make sure it was touching the bottom of the manifold it was not. did notice driving it today that it was reading 650 at 65 mph with 10 lbs of boost. i have a power puck on the way so ill have to see how high it runs with that
