Default banks big hoss / edge ez

just finished installing the banks big hoss chip today, when i went to start it, it started knocking in the bottom end so i fethered the peddle till it warmed up, and it went away. do you think this is the new programer or the oil being thick? it was 25 degree's out, and havent ran it in a week. it never did it before with the edge ez. also banks seems like a better chip over the edge ez from what ive read, but after trying it out i see no gain. it now down shifts and it never did before when i was running the ez. the big hoss seems like its slower, so im not sure if i should go back to the edge or try this out for a while.

No gain because you replaced it with the same kind of tuning. If you have the pryo wired into it it will also defuel at higher egts making it feel slower. There was def better options out there for 500 bucks... as for the knocking mines always louder at that temp plus it sat for a week, could have taken alil bit to get the oil flowing back where it should be.

the truck came with the edge ez when i got it, and i picked up the big hoss off craigslist for $100. i never would have bought a new one for 400-500. and no i dont have the pyro hooked up to the box.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

could i possibly stack the edge and banks?

Because they both modify the map signal to make more power. That being said it can only be changed once therefore rendering one usless

So say if I had somthing like a smarty that uses the obdII, then I would be able to get the power delivery out of both?

Its all in how they programed the tuner to gain the power. Every company has a different idea on how they want to make more power.
