Default compressor housing

The guy I bought my turbo from was tryin to make it look pretty and painted the compressor housing with black 1200 degree paint. My mind tells me its gonna burn off. What do yall think?

Nope, the compressor housing doesnt get that hot. I have had mine painted bright green for awhile now and its still like the day i painted it.

I agree. Compressor side doesn't get near as hot as the turbine side. If you ever saw 400* on the compressor side, its one hell of a hot day, and your humpin' on her hard.
