I replaced the vp44 in march along with the airdog system and quadzilla adrenaline....for the last 2 months or so on occasion (every other day) i get the sort of surges while driving at speeds between 45 and 60 like i did when the vp44 died earlier this year Im also gettin a lighter color smoke almost a dark grey rather then the normal black out of my exhaust. Long story short Ive just left it be and started saving for yet another vp pump however today the trucks check gauges light came on twice and i noticed the voltage meter pegged at 18 which led me to check the codes in the truck. Im not getting the code i did last time when the vp went out so im starting to wonder if maybe its a setting in the pulse v2 monitor for my adrenaline...could this be...does anyone have this problem. Im also experiencing the fuel pressure staying at 16 and 17 when a few weeks ago it was between 12 and 15

Here are the codes im getting and feel free to correct me if im wrong but I do believe some of these are due to the harness plugged into the adrenaline rather than the computer itself.
PCU 1594 charging system voltage to high( hopefully i fixed this )
0122 something with the TPS not to sure
1693 Turbo Charge Control Circuit Malfunction?

Im getting the 1693 twice is this my turbo failing

Damn man. Not sure where to begin. If it were me i would try pulling the adrenaline off and clear the codes and see what happens.

 

First of all 1693 is an ecm/pcm companion code, has nothing to do with turbo.. the 0122 will give you the surging as that is the code for APPS voltage too low... I'll find the link for manual reset... searching, searching....
