my lift pump just failed, luckly i had the low fuel pressure light turn on so i turned it off before injector pump death happed ..... i just rebuild my lift pump and put it back it was runnin fine. heres my question/ problem i started my truck up tonight prbly let it idle 2-3 mins. and then took off i went about a block then prbly gave it about 75% throttle ... with my chip on the third setting.(it has done this 3 time too me(i forget to turn my chip off until my truck warms up)) anyways so i took off about 75% throttle and it my truck just dies.. im thinking my injection pump is failing but im wondering if anyone has any ideas?

My 99 did the same thing the 2nd day I owned it, trying to show my buddy my truck, took off 3/4 throttle and the motor just shut off... almost got in a wreck. All I had to do was crack the injectors till I saw fuel then it runs fine. As long as I keep the fuel tank up over half a tank it doesnt do that...
