Default Dealer diag

So I have been trying to figure out a misfire issue for the last few weeks put a new LP in a set of injectors. Still didnt fix it so I had no clue where eles to go so I took it to the dealer. There diag was my valve body in trans was binding and causing the mis and there is a code for injection pump but it's new.. Needless to say I spent a 112.50 for diag of I already new with the trans. I have no clue how a valve body causes a misfire in the motor being as they are two separate units. How any seen or had this problem like this before? What about the injection pump? I just don't understand how a trans issue would cause a misfire. Just to let you know I don't know what codes they had this is all the info they had given me no codes on the paper work nothing and the want 1300 to just replace the valve body.

Probably the injection pump. Very notorious on these engines.

Misfire how? Idle, WOT? And who installed the Lp and injectors? Possible air leak somewhere that's making it misfire.

Could you list out your mods, it'll help us out.

If you start it in the morning let it run for 15 min runs like a top, start in the morning put it in drive and go five feet misfire. I put the LP in and injectors I put them in just as the book said.. No current mode all stock

Connector tubes possibly, could be a pop at incorrect pressure on injector but most likely injector pump.

thats exactly what mine does. i was told injectors or vp, it still runs good besides the miss fire so i figured just leave it alone. when it dies it dies.
