Default Heater Core.

It's been leaking all summer.. Just got a new one.. Where the hell does it go?

Yeah, that's an understatement Mr. Glue

To the OP, get a manual for your pickup and plan on spending all day. Helps to have a friend to supply beer, tools while you're hands are full (with said beer and pieces of your truck you never would have dreamed could/would come out) and an extra set of hands.

It does suck. Pull the dash apart, lower the steering column, pull the entire dash out, pull the main HVAC system out, all to gain access to the heater core. Oh, drain the coolant and evacuate the A/C before pulling it out.

Ohwell I'll give it a whirl.. Might be driving something else for awhile from the sounds of it..

You can get it done in a day but you probably won't get much else done.

It can be done in a day, I have done it myself. Including removing the radiator and washing it out. Stay dedicated to it, and start at a decent time.
