First off my truck is a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 quad cab. i recently purchased this truck and have noticed that when the truck is WARM it runs totally different. I have noticed that once the motor is warm it will idle high and the rpms will slightly bounce.. it almost sounds like it has a miss.. Numerous people in my town have also said it sounds like it needs new injectors because it makes more noise than most.. Like i said when the truck is cold it runs great.. when its warm it idles funny.. when the truck is in drive or reverse i dont notice any issues.. when its in neutral or park is when it runs funny.

I purchased the truck with these things already done to it:

Cold Air Intake

 

i think they all do that. my rpm's bounce, SLIGHTLY. In park and Neutral. Doesnt run any different though.
If it runs strange it might be a camshaft position sensor....?

I put a new CSS in and it fixed my issue. Not saying that is what it is but its a start.

 

Gamecocks- my truck seems to idle a lot higher than that and it seems to almost sputter. I will have to get a video of it and post it tomorrow

I have unplugged the edge and drove for around 200 miles and all i noticed was my truck drove like a school bus and had no power

the noise you hear every so often is my foot on the brake pedal.. we got some nice cold rain here in Michigan today

 

Im clueless, it looks like the high idle feature but that does it when its cold.... maybe a bad/dirty IAT sensor???
