Default Injector feed tubes

I have a 1998.5 24v. One site said injector feed tubes were different on the earlier engines and had to be replaced to upgrade injectors. Has anyone ran in to this situation?

I, and many others, have replaced injectors and reused the feed tubes. Have a good look at them when they are out, and if there is no damage, throw a new oring on and reuse them.

I think the issue is the first year trucks actually used a different style crossover tube and they don't work the same. This is on ddp's website. it goes by serial number so you know if you need them or not
