Default Maybe I'm just blind

My 12v power plug in in my truck quit working, so now I just have the cigarette lighter. I swear I've been all over that truck and can't find a fuse for it, but then maybe I'm just blind.

And then lately, I can hear my A/C compressor clutch kicking in and out even when my heater is on full blast. Any ideas?

Maybe a stupid question... But did you check both boxes? One in the door, and under the hood?

Yea the box on the driver side dash should be where that fuse is. Also last night I heard my trucks a/c kickin on and off when the heater was on floor and full blast

when the heater is on defrost it cycles the ac because it dehumidifies the air. maby it keeps the ac on on all the heat settings

I've only know for them to kick on when set to defrost or defrost/floor (bi-level).

My a/c compressor kicks on all the time also. I can have the heat on or off and it still cycles on. It will do it, I believe, in any fan position.

Take a look in your owners manual at the fuse functions. I do believe that outlet shares a fuse with another function but it wont say on the fuse panels
