It doesn't do it at an idle, but it does do it in park. I'm pulling the stock fuel line off and running a 1/2" line into a fuel tank to see if that helps.

All a bigger line is going to do is give you more volume, keeping fuel pressure numbers steadier with the pulses the vp44 gives off... Trust me, it's a waste of your time, buy a Raptor 150 for $400 it comes with quick connecting 1/2" lines, you might need to tell them you're connecting to the Ford tank, I'm not sure if they're differant or not. But if you scan for codes and and find injection pump code(s) I'd be looking at some of the package deals the venders offer up on here for an s.o vp44 / pusher pump package deal... what info or knowledge do you have about your engine prior to the swap? anything?

I don't know anything about the motor. I'm going to try messing with the fuel lines real quick. I'm going from a 1/2" line off the motor that ties into the Ford 3/8" line. Maybe it isn't sealing. The truck runs great at all levels except this.

Im gonna say injection pump or something in the ford ecm not telling the cummins when and how to fuel properly

Edit: you really need to put a scanner on this dude!

I hooked up the 1/2" line, no luck. I think I'm gonna order the airdog 100gph pump. As far as hooking up a scanner, I don't know what it will read on the Ford port with a cummins motor.

What's the normal EGT for these motor?

Egt's arent gonna cause an issue like this, normal egts are like 600 to 800 cruising, try scanning it and let us know what its showing, i can almost bet something isnt right between the ecm and motor,

If ut was the tps itd have speratic shifts, not shifting into OD or shifting out of OD then back into OD, wouldnt cause u to all of a sudden get a boost of fuel, are u running the ford ecm or cummins ecm, or is it something custom? Why dont u make a video of what its doing and post it on here so we can get a better idea

did you do any computer swapping with the cummins? 8-9 psi is too low pressure. it will make it run, but will starve your vp44 when you get after it, it takes 12 psi to open the return valve in your vp. if you are not returning fuel to the tank, your vp will overheat and live as short expensive life. not to mention, it sounds kind of like mine did when I first bought it with a bad vp. it would run great, and then just cut out. I could turn off the ignition real quick, and restart and it would run great for another 15-45 minutes.
