differential lockers?

Default differential lockers?

so has anybody heard much or had expierience with either air or electric differential lockers? im looking to try to find a kit to put one on the rear end of my truck. only problem is idk were to go for them for sure or what to expect for price. and more importantly i don't know alot about either one and would like some extra opinions on electric vs air lock. thanks ya'll

Sounds like your wanting a selectable locker? ARB locker is an open differential and is selectable to a locker via air. Eaton ELocker is another, electric, and is an open diff and selectable to a locker. Auburn Ected is one that I would recommend the most, It is Electric, and is a posi, and is selectable to a locker. Uses Magnets to engage the locker and is very reliable. The price range for any of these units are $550 - 750.

every bit helps yea i didn't know what the term for them was for sure thats what ive always heard them called i will deffinatly look into them thanks for the info!
