Chance at buying a 01 3500 4x4 srw. For 3k the body is solid. I need the doors fenders and wanna do a 5 speed swap has dana 60 axles it is a gas motor so what would I need for the tranny to mount to my 24v. Also is this an investment I can. Sell the motor frame my build auto tranny and axles bed etc?? Also is the 01 d60 disc brakes

is it a v10? if its a v8 im pretty sure the trans, and t-case are different/weaker, and it should have discs in the rear. i believe they started that in 2000. also the rear end is a dana 60. only the v10 and diesel came with d70's or 80's.

I wouldn't do it. You can find 12 valve 5 speeds for that price, and steal the p pump off it to boot

unless its a srw conversion witch i have heard of people doing, or had 1-ton leafs and coils put in. they never made a factory 3500 srw. or it might have the doors and emblems off a 3500 dually from a junk yard or somthing because orginal doors that were rotted. witch makes the most sense now that i thought about it.
