track bar
Replacing the track bar is extremely easy. if you get a stock replacement one it WILL go bad again. Any aftermarket ones that use a bushing on the frame side is a good choice. They are pricey but most people with these trucks agree they are well worth it.
Id honestly go with the 3rd or 4th gen dodge track bar. The ball joint design was a horrible decision on dodges part. I put the 4th gen track bar on my truck with a bracket for Ruff Stuff I welded on.
My buddy owns a 01 Cummins and the track bar went bad when he lifted it, it snapped he replaced it with a 3rd generation track bar there adjustable and beefeir you just have to fabricate a mount on the truck he cheated and paid some one 400 bucks to put it on.
