I like the miles on the truck..

If they are the stock (99) injectors there a little wore out.

The injection pump painted maybe a indication that it was replaced.

Do you plan on keeping the truck?

The misfire only seems to be after she warms up at idle. Thanks on the mile amazing she is still running (some what) is there anywhere I can find a number to see if it is a stock injection pump or newer? Yes I plan on keeping her for awhile

if it is a black, oem bosch unit it should have a big "REMAN" sticker on it, right on top. There is a serial number on the side, I suppose you could try calling bosch with that number, but I don't think that will even matter, get a raptor or airdog pusher pump ASAP lots of great vendors here on db you can get a price from, raise that idle pressure to 18, and just pray the vp holds out

If the pump is brown its a cummins reman unit, when it starts to miss, open each injection line one at a time until you find the one that doesn't make it worse.

If there is no aftermarket lift pump on the truck, you will want to get one asap, with that mileage I would say its safe to buy a set of injectors, do a valve adjustment while your at it. did you get any kind of service history with the truck?

I will try tomorrow and see if i can scratch some paint off n see the color. i let it run the other day and opened the line to see witch got wrose. The number 1 injection didnt make any differance wen opened i completely took the nut out and nothing, however when i would push on the line slitly fuel would come out. Is there a stock lift pump ont these truck or no? what is the semi-best to go with on a budget? how dose it work alomst like a fuel pump being in the tank?

Unlikely you have a pump in the tank, that was the "recall" pump, that somebody would have bought from dodge. It is on the side of the engine block kind of hidden behind the fuel filter canister. the "pusher" pumps we all talk about bolt to the frame. I'd say Raptor 100 if you're on a budget, or 150 if you plan on making hp.

so know by putting this lift pump on it would bypass and cut out the stock one completely. the othr i had forgotten to say the other day is wen i cycled the key i had no pressure on my MAC fuel pressure gauge. then when i started the turck i got 11psi.

ok so today i put a stock lift pump in (thats really all i could afford at this time). when i cycled the key still didnt get any pressure reading, not sure how that really works on a diesel. My running PSI was about 13-14 and WOT 11psi. It seem that i still have a bit of a misfire i sat idleing in my drive way for about 15 mins and seemed like it wanted to maybe idle right. I think tomorrow i will try opening the injector nuts and seeing if i can bleed them out more and see if that make a diff.
