I found this crashed 02 2500 4x4 for $1000 bucks.
Its pretty rough looking but it runs great and only has 200k on it. I bought a cab with really nice leather interior and straight doors for $300.

Got it swappped. looking a little better.

Is it an auto or manual? 1K isnt a bad price just for the drive train either way! Nice find

 

what hit it?!? looks like it did some serious damage. awesome project truck though.

 

It is a manual shift. The guy was pulling a gooseneck stock trailer and met 2 cars in the highway drag racing. One car sideswiped him causing the trailer to jack knife and run him into the ditch. The other car spun out and hit him after he was in the ditch. The truck was used for about 6 months after it was wrecked to haul cows with because he didn't have Insurance!

 

did the frame get bent? its probably gonna side step.
