I changed my fuel filter today. and now it acts like it is losing prime. it started fine and i went to town and it set for about an hour and it would not start. I took the plug out of the top of the fuel filter housing and primed it and it started and run great till i got home. tried to start it no go. I took the filter back of to check the o-rings and all looked good put it back together a it ran fine. later tried it again and no go drained a little fuel out of the filter housing and it started. I have good fuel pressure. what the crap did i do wrong?

 

sounds like a pos stock lift pump and no gauges don't drive the truck put on a fuel system and hope you didn't kill the vp.

 

u got the filter housing shut right and closed up good?
