i got a turbo sitting here in shop if i remember right it was off an 04 cummmins all i can get off of it is holset 3 nothing else can anyone identify what type of turbo this is.... also im trying to wire in a boost gauge from glowshift says i need to hook the t fitting into a vacuum line what vacuum line????!???

HE351 off of an 04 cummins and on the guage did you get one that reads vac/boost?

 

yeah i did and he351 thats not the variable geometry turbo is it???? will it spool better then my stock 99 cummins?

plus i plan on putting it on will it work with my stock 99 manifold or do i have to use the manifold it came with???

 

take that glowshift and throw it down thought the woods they are junk. i had a egt gauge go bad on me and i call them and told them it was not working right and they told me they did not make a bad gauge. buy autometer or somthing else.

i drlled out the center of a grease fitting then drill tapped a hole in my boost elbow... redneck but it worked but i got the reg boost guage not the vac boost..
