my spare tire winch broke so i went to the local wreaking yard and to my suprise all they were all taken off or bad like mine. anybody else have this problem? Im thinking of changing to a chain holder so no broken cable with missing spare tire. Has any body tried? Or is it just me not wanting to put weak one back in.

 

Can't say I have. The area for a spare is too small for the tires I run. I am currently looking at options for a spare carrier that is secure and doesn't take too much box space.

 

My spare tire holder/crank broke. I ask the diesel bomber members and had one located the next day. The Diesel Bomber members are top notch and try to help one another most any way they can. Just a good group of people.
