Looking to do a minor upgrade on the tranny because it's starting to slip a little. Which TC and Valve Body is recommended? 2001 Ram 2500 Ext Cab Long bed 4x4 Air Dog and Exhaust are the only upgrades right now. Would like at least a triple disc Billett TC and unfamiliar with anybody's valve bodies out there so any info will help. Thanks

Either one will do. How many miles is on the trans? Might want to do a rebuild a TC and VB is just patch work in the long run.Depends on funds and if you are going to keep the truck.

 

I'd look into having the trans rebuilt at the same time because it is only a matter of time before the clutches are shot.

 

Got 94200 miles and yes I am keeping the truck been fixing all the crap that's been wrong with it so I can't part with it now, too much invested.
