Default In-tank pump??

Sorry for starting a new thread for something thats been discussed alot but I can't seem to find a clear awnser. I just put my gauges in. FP gauge only reads 10-11 at ideal after it warms up good around 7 when its warming up. So i decided i needed a new lift pump. But when i went to make sure i had one mounted by the filter i seen there was only a aluminum block mounted there with my fuel line going through it. Its got me really frustrated on how to get rid of the intank pump to put on a raptor 100.

I had the in tank pump to. get rid of it as soon as posible. to hard to change and they cost bucks, and they dont work good. you have to find a non in tank pickup. I went to a dealer and talked to the right guy and he said dodge will only put in tank pumps, but the mechanic saved all the old ones so he gave me the fuel pickup.

I was just on vulcan performance and read about the draw straws any info on them. instead of replacing the old system. Is the draw straw v the one i need. Im gonna do it myself i think i can figure it out. But i'd rather get the draw straw if it will work instead of doing what you did pukie370

The Vulacan Draw Straw V is oner of the best ways to go if you have an in tank pump. I'm using one with my FASS150 and it works excellent.

I just bought the truck about a week ago. the previous owner must of had dodge do the conversion or something. With that drawstraw will it give my 1/4 tank promblems?

was there a pump monted to the side off your engine behind the fuel filter with your lines running to it. If there wasn't then you have a intank pump also
