It would help if you had a signature to see your mods.. Do you have bolts or studs? Did you torque them in sequence? Did you follow the re-torque specs? Is there anything else going on with your engine? What are your running temps? How Much boost? What HG did you use? Did you give it enough time to seat before you were out rompin on it?

Did you have the head or block checked for straightness? Are you running allen bolts(I hope not) or are did you reuse the stock bolts?

Its been a problem for me too.. get studs if u dont have them....... take them down to around 145 ft lbs... and give the truck plenty of time to warm up in the mornings.... even if its 90* out... a high idle switch will work wonders for u too...

i reused the old stud bolts as there expensive. i read in the chiltons that you needed to tighten to 90 then take it one last 90 degree turn then its good and i did the corect sequence...so idk about the torque ive heard multiple torque specs i run 190 at the hottest usualy boost is unsure. my guage goes to 20 psi and if i get on it it will wrap around and tag on numbers again so idk for sure on boost i know its alot more then the average dodge but i haven't goten on it since the new gasket and it just started leakin water again i run a bully dog outlook aftermarket intake bigger turbo 6 inch lift 4 inch turbo back exhuast stage 4 clutch and short throw shift kit and a holly blue electric LP along with a stock LP also havn't checked the block but i did check the head it was strait though..also wanna point out the truck has 380,000 miles and the engine is at around 300,000 miles. i have a friend with a 97 24v engine that i was kinda thinking about buying and throwin in the ol' truck but i don't know if it will be able to work the same...i didn't even know they had 24v in 97...
