water injection??
so ive heard about propane and nitros injection but someone was telling me that you can inject water and it will add horse and torque and give u better fuel. never thought that was possible and i don't know how id go about trying this so i figured id ask ya'll and see if anyone knew a way to do this without buying the costly kit but more importantly without ruining my engine! thanks

Aem/snow performance etc, make water/meth injection kits that start at like $300. Pretty basic. You're not going to gain much power only injecting water, but your egts will be lower. Now mixing water and meth 50/50 will add about 50hp and run cooler. If you tow a lot it's something good to have. It's not comparable to nitrous... But the point is to get lower egts. I've seen people make home made kits but I'd recommend just spending the money for a kit so it's right. Theres also kits that inject more mixture as the boost levels go up, and stop injecting at idle when it's not needed.

I have been running Snow Performance's water meth kit for years. I installed the kit back in 2005-06 I can't remember.
It does exactly what they say it does.
I got it to lower my EGT's while towing. It works awesome for that, it starts injecting at 1150° and the EGT's drop about 150-200° depending on the load and the grade.
The pleasant surprise was the added power. When I dial it in more for power by setting it up to inject at low, medium, or high boost it is pretty fun. Runs with it on versus off are very noticeable in the ol butt dyno.
It works awesome just make sure you get a kit so you can fine tune it to your personal truck and aftermarket fuel and air upgrades.
It can get pretty scary if you don't get the mix and injection rate just right.
I run windshield washer fluid at 15% injection rate injecting at medium boost and I don't get any timing rattle or popping.
