i have a 2000,dodge 3500 stake truck,in line 6,turbo diesel,bought it new,its been a great truck,ive been pulling around a skid steer bobcat for 10 years now and had few problems,replaced the fule pump and injector pump,hoping someone can help?..........my turbo kicks in after i reach speeds of about 10mph,on take offs it does not work until after ive pulled into traffic,mind you this is under a load,when im not pulling a trailer,,,,,10,000lbs it seems to kick in much easier but i still notice the turbo is slow kicking in,once it is working i have all the power its had in the past,after the truck has wormed up it seems to be a little better.....................do i need to replace the turbo?

 

Dirty air filter ? Clogged fuel filter? Start off basic.
